Can you tell us about your position?

I am in charge of a team of about fifteen people working at the Nanterre and Lyon sites. They carry out surveys and analyses at the request of our clients on their commercial partners, whether they are clients, suppliers, intermediaries, etc. My presence in the field is essential; in our business, management and operational commitment are inseparable.

How do you approach the relationship with your customers?

We exchange with our customers in order to better understand their needs and thus provide them with the most appropriate response possible.

Indeed, our clients' requests for information on their business partners are diverse. They may concern the lack of visibility on a recent company, late payments, a change in shareholding, turnover prospects, rumours, concerns... The stage of expressing needs and analysing them is therefore essential!

In concrete terms, how does the process unfold from the moment the customer makes contact?

First of all, we carry out a study of the entity. Indeed, the knowledge of the "file" allows us to exchange much more efficiently with the interlocutor, whether he is a manager, an accountant or a financial director, depending on the size of the structure. Then comes the time of the telephone interview, sometimes several telephone meetings are necessary. Finally, the third and last step consists in analyzing the collected information, and then to restore it in a clear and easily exploitable form by our client.

You have a database at your disposal...

At Ellisphere, we have an exhaustive database of 9.6 million active French companies. This database is updated daily thanks to various public and private sources of information, including information collected directly from companies. Thus, all the information obtained during our surveys on behalf of our clients is integrated into our database. This continuous enrichment benefits everyone: freshness, diversity and traceability of the information, feeding our various indicators such as the company failure score, etc.

How do you reconcile the sharing of this information with the respect of private data?

Private data that cannot be disseminated and information declared confidential by the companies we work with are simply not disseminated outside Ellisphere. This is a strong commitment of our company to all the economic actors with whom our teams work on a daily basis.

What do you think is the most important aspect of your job?

The greatest added value of our work is undoubtedly our human expertise. Our ability to talk directly with companies, to understand their challenges and to assess their economic and financial situation as accurately as possible is a tremendous asset for our clients. In concrete terms, the expertise of Ellisphere's staff and the quality of their analyses enable them to engage in and then develop long-term business relationships with peace of mind.
